2. What is the principle of opposites?
The “Principle of Opposites” presented by Jung demonstrates there is an opposite to an action, personality and/or behavior in physical energy.
3. Describe the shadow.
The term “Shadow” is defined as the opposite action and/or personality of an individual. For example; an individuals shadow can be evil when the individual is kind on the outside. It has been described as the “ego” of conscious self opposite of a unconscious self.
4. Name and describe two of Alder’s four styles of life.
The “Youngest Child” tends to be a high achiver who is in need of more attention than the older siblings. They view older siblings as if they were mentors and has the need to be the same or better than them.
