Define Cultural Identity

What is culture it doesn't just define your race or skin color. There is more thing that define cultural identity. It like saying you can't judge a book by its cover. It's the same thing about talking about a person. You need to get to know the person. I am Hispanic Latino and I may look Mexican or may even think act like one too, but people need to get know me and other before they judge someone.
There are many way that culture identify someone. Religion even though my family and I are Catholic, we don't go to church every Sunday like everyone else does. Yes we have portrait of Jesus, statues, and cross. We do have bibles at home, but I don't really read it at all, but only when my aunt use to come and visit us, she alway have to tell me in Spanish ?it for your own good ".I have many beliefs of the story my mother use to tell me that if I have to behave or the llorena will come and get you. Through out culture, it help me through some tough time and also help me make some great friends that I have right now. Culture really help me and others to get to know themselves. Even though culture doesn't really sho on people, but it does bring them closer to get to know each others. It can impact on you and you to others and so on. Culture is great thing to embrace people, not judging others that you may not even know them.
My cultural identity show what I belief in and it show what my family and I celebrate certain holidays. Cultural can impact you in many ways. Don't be afraid to show who you cultural side. Even though you may look different to someone else, nut in reality everyone is the same. I am Latino but I don't act or look like a Latin person.
