The words democratic government means a government that was built for the people by the people, one that creates sovereignty within its states and as a whole. We live in a society that allows our people to make choices based on their freedoms, freedoms that come from being a citizen of a democratic government. You have the choice to practice any religion, faith, or creed without prejudice from government officials, the right to a fair trial by judge and jury in a court of law, and the right to own a business for profit. The word democracy stands for our freedoms as a nation that is very diverse and it is like a melting pot of ethnicities.
The U.S democratic government is scrutinized by other nations as being to lenient on our criminals, youth, and pay little respect to our elders. Our health care system is seriously lacking the attention to detail that it should, in fact it seems as if our doctors work harder and better if there is a profit foreseen. Many people go without health care their entire lives living in the U.S., where if they were to live in a country that was say, communist or one that you work for what you receive, they would have better health care. We as a nation struggle because we have so many freedoms that are exploited, guns, violence, drugs, prostitution, gambling, and much, much, more.
All in all I would never want to take up residence in another country; I have heard several horror stories about most other countries. I would live in England, Europe, Ireland, and a few others for a while, but would always come back to the U.S. Even though there are a bunch of crazies floating around, we do have the best resources for import and export trade of foods and crops, we are the strongest world leader, and we have cleaner streets and sanitary water supplies. We have better technology than a lot of countries, and for heaven sake
