From the movie Divergent, it says “it’s when you are acting selflessly that you are at your bravest.” Bravery is putting yourself in danger or difficult situations in order to protect or benefit others. For instance, surgeons completes hours of surgery just for their patient to live better. Firefighters risk their lives to go into a burning building to save those who are trapped inside. Teachers give up their time to assure that their students understand the concepts. Police, lawyers, military all give their time to protect the citizens and our country. Being brave is taking risks to make life easier for another. Overall, bravery is rare but is internationally known. It is being able to build up your courage and undergo difficult situations to benefit others or yourself. Many people fear things, which is the opposite of bravery. Its purpose is to put your fear aside and express the way you feel or serve others.
