Definition Essay: What Does Happiness Means To Me
Happiness. Such a small word that can contain such a big feeling. Which, can either come from something materialistic or just from a moment. It can be the smallest thing that creates the biggest of emotions or it can be an achievement, or just being contempt with yourself with your life. Maybe just in the simplest form the state of being happy.
I believe happiness comes in so many ways, moments, memories, people, etc. To me it's always the smallest of things that make me have a bit of pleasure. For example, it can be as simple as being with my closest friends, hanging out, laughing, not having to think about every little problem we have going on. Or when your crush finally decides to make a move and you get the chance to be alone with him in that moment when he leans in for a kiss when your heart beats a little bit faster. Or having having someone listen to you when you're feeling down. Sometimes it's even being by yourself enjoying a good movie with some good food. But sometimes it can be those big things,

It was when the weather began to be warm again. We all had made plans to hang out after school and have a water balloon fight. After school was over we all walked to our friends house. We filled up the water balloons and began. We had a limited amount of balloons so that ended quickly. It was a fun but we didn't know what to do afterwards. We all just sat outside and talked so we could get dry. Then suddenly it began to rain and then a little harder. We all ran around the neighborhood like we're little kids again. I don't even remember who began to throw mud but it all suddenly became a mud fight. We all chased each other with mud everywhere, I was all laughs. We were still young and pretty immature but it's one honestly one of my favorite memories. To me that is happiness.
