“How to make Delicious Trail Mix”

General Purpose: To demonstrate
Specific Purpose: To demonstrate to my audience how to make a very tasty snack that can be prepared in five minutes or less!
Central Idea: It is necessary to have a snack that most people will enjoy, especially younger children.

INTRODUCTION:

I. Ever since I was a little girl, one of my favorite snacks to eat was trail mix, not only because it is super quick and easy to throw together, but also because it is super yummy too! This is why I have decided to prepare this snack mix for everyone today, so you can all see how fun and simple preparing this treat actually is!

Transition: Like most projects, let’s start by gathering the materials together.

The last item you will need is a ⅓ measuring cup.

B. There are five ingredients that are essential to completing this recipe.
The first ingredient you will be using is ⅓ cup of Honey Nut Cheerios.
The second ingredient you will need is ⅓ cup of M&Ms.
The third ingredient is ⅓ cup of Pretzel Sticks.
The fourth ingredient is ⅓ cup of Mini Marshmallows.
The fifth and final ingredient you will need is ⅓ cup of raisins.

C. Adding in or replacing some of the listed ingredients with a more preferred choice of snack is optional. Transition: Now that we have collected all of our materials and ingredients, we can start to prepare the mix.

II. The second step is to combine all of your ingredients in a bowl and stir slowly
After you have finished measuring our all of your ingredients, you are going to need to add each item into your bowl. 1. The first step is to add in your ⅓ cup of Honey Nut Cheerios to the bowl. 2.
