Delinquent Accounts Receivable
Accounts Receivable is a department in a medical office which deals with monies owed to the organization. The accounts receivable specialist is the person who prepares the patients statements, bills and invoices. Also reconciles the expenses to the general ledger. They prepare the monthly statements showing accounts that still owe money. They also make sure that they have all records of the money transactions such as cash receipts, copies of checks received, deposit slips etc. Accounts receivable also deals with collections personal to establish and verify delinquent accounts and collect any past accounts that are overdue.
