Dental implants are the best restorative treatment for missing teeth because they are a long term solution. According to Dr. Guy M. Lewis in his article he states, “When properly maintained with adequate brushing and flossing, the implant itself can last a lifetime” (“Love That Smile” par. 3). Implants are used to replace one or extra missing teeth, and if they are taken care of the right way, they are guaranteed to last a lifetime. If the implant is well taken care of and treated as if it was a real tooth, it will be in the best condition possible and last the patient a lifetime. The full idea of a dental implant is to look compared, feel like and act related to a real tooth. It is only right to treat the implant as if it was a real tooth …show more content…
In addition, “Doctors Smile Online states”, “ Because they are securely attached to your jawbone, they will never slide around and they can’t come out” (par. 3). Since Dental Implants are securely attached to the jawbone, there is no chance at all of them falling out. Dental Implants are strong and dependable, making them last abounding years. The patient will not need a replacement until about 1 or 2 decades owing to the fact that they act just equal to the teeth. Additionally, “Great Riveroms” highly suggests in their article that “Dental implants are long lasting because of their construction and the way the body reacts to the materials from which implants are made… an implant is a titanium post… Titanium is a metal that is biocompatible with the body. Titanium is a metal that is similar to bone and the body does not reject it, allowing the body to adapt to the titanium. It adapts well enough that soon enough, the titanium will eventually become one with the bone, allowing it to remain located in the …show more content…
Eating with implants on is no hassle at all, and feels the same way that real teeth would feel. The American Academy of Implant Dentistry observes that “Taste and enjoy the foods you love without hesitation. You can bite naturally and eat virtually anything you want” Eating with implants on is no hassle at all, and feels the same way that real teeth would feel. Dental implants do not adjust the patient to feel uncomfortable at all or affect their daily life, including their way of eating. Their way of eating remains completely normal, or it improves with the implant. Since these dentures are screwed in tightly and securely to the jaw, the patient will not be obligated to worry about them falling out or moving out of place while eating. Correspondingly, In Coastal Jaw’s view, “Patients who love to eat nuts, apples, corn on the cob, or steak will have a difficult time doing so with a bridge or denture that has not been anchored with dental implants “ (par. 2). The utmost comfortable dental restorative treatment that allows the patient to eat regularly are dental implants. Patients who have dental implants will never have a difficult time eating their favourite foods, no matter if it’s eating soup, chewing gum, or even an apple. Nothing regarding the implant will interfere with the patient’s daily diet. Dental Implants are basically brand - new ,
