Due to the fact that deporting the illegal immigrants would be a difficult task and a costly one as well, it would be better off just giving them amnesty and have them here in the United States to contribute to the workforce and the consumers population, meanwhile resolve their status as immigrants to citizens. As seen in politics, immigration is a very hot topic to this very day. We see immigration being used by the politicians to get the people to vote for them. When the immigrants come to the U.S. they aren’t coming for no reason, they come for a more prosperous living style, better suited economy as well to support their family in their home country. The most debatable factor of the illegal immigrants staying in the U.S. is mainly the sole purpose that they take our jobs, shelter, and public services, while not having to fulfill their requirements with paying their taxes, but if we were to make them citizens then we would see major improvements with our political issues. As we know the legal immigrants that go through a difficult process of paperwork just to get a visa to be able to even have a chance in the U.S. is unreasonable whatsoever, but providing them with the amnesty they will also have to go through the rigorous requirements of the paperwork for the illegal immigrants (Thornburg).
