For some moment I actually thought that it was real because I was thinking about the fair all day long and also planning to attend it. I think for that particular reason, I thought that the incident actually occurred and felt in my dream that it actually happened. The feeling was very much close to how I would felt in reality but then my phone’s alarm rang and I woke up. The dream sometimes can be felt it is really happening to us when we think about it the previous day. Based on what I read from the abstract, responses to other similar argument and have personally experienced, I think from my point of view what Descartes meant was we see in dreams have some connection to what we have had in the past, present or we might be thinking for future. Another point of view I thought of is maybe all of the perceptions are false and maybe I am just dreaming. In fact, it can also be a case where I am imagining that I am writing this essay because I was thinking of it for a few days but in reality, I am just dreaming about it. It is very hard to predict whether or not we are living in the moment or just an illusion as it is a dream. It is nearly impossible to be 100% true and accurate, it can be precisely accurate sometimes but we know usually of what is real and what is an illusion based on our experience and knowledge. In fact, the first humans on the planet (according to the creation myth and Abrahamic religion) the first man and woman and the ancestors of all human, Adam and Eve were also deceived by a serpent which led to eating a fruit from a tree and later punished by God. Anyways, as we move onto the deceptive ideology, it generally explains (from my perspective) something isn’t true but tries to convince the people that it is true. It will make people into thinking about false facts which later, which is either not good or will not have a positive outcome and eventually leads to disaster. According to Descartes, deceptive is similarly same with my ideology. At first, there will be a person whose goal will always be deceiving others. They do this by giving people false beliefs. False facts that help them get what they intended, For example, the politicians from all around the world use this theory. They make the voter believe a false statement which later helps them win the elections. This was the primary cause that led to the era of fake news. Descartes had a strong sense of belief of deceptive. He believed that people might get deceptive unless they are totally aware of the knowledge or rigorously checking whether it has the radical truth and transparency in it or not. This was another reason of the dream hypothesis of whether we are really living
