Task 1.2.
Describe, giving examples, how different aspects of development can affect one another.
There are many examples that show how different aspects of development can impact one another. In majority of cases, one aspect will lead to another as a natural result, so for example, if a child has a speaks foreign language as his/her first and family just came to UK to live, this may lead to having language barrier, he/she may become shy, not very communicative, isolated, which affects emotional and intellectual development, further, he/she may have difficulty making friends, which can weaken his/her self esteem, affecting social and behavioral development. Another example may be if a child was not planned in the family, the parents were too young and addicted to alcohol and did not give him/her that much love. If no doctor or social worker is present to discover that, then the child may be very quiet, closed in his own world, affecting his/her emotional development, and intellectual as well, because in such situations children very often don't want to learn anything, they “forget” about homework, they simply will do everything to get more attention and love. In future this child may have difficulties forming friendship and relationship, may feel lonely, desperate, angry on the whole world...which affects his/her social development.
When a child is disabled this can affect his/her physical, social and intellectual development. For example if a child is in a pushchair until 6 years old, then changing on wheelchair, not being able to walk, the first thing he/she discovers is that he/she cannot run with other children in the fields, he/she feels sad, may want to stay more at home with Mommy (not to see his/her colleagues walking), he/she may read more books at home then, learning more and more – which will affect positively his/her intellectual development. But his/her home isolation means that he/she has only one friend, his/her Mum, which
