Describe How Children And Young People Protect Themselves
Children and young people need to be able to learn about how to protect themselves and others in certain situations to keep everyone safe, they need the knowledge and understanding on how to help protect and safeguard themselves. Children and young people should be able to learn and take their own risks if there is no change of them seriously hurting themselves or others this is so they can get an understanding of their own capability and the possible risks that could happen in different situations helping them grow and learn as a person.

Children and young people should be taught and need to know about strangers and the danger of how some strangers are not nice people, by explaining to children and young people that most people care and protect children but

• Never accept gifts of any kind from a stranger
• If someone is following you or there’s an incident try and visualise their face, clothes, number plate etc
• If a stranger grabs you then your allowed to do everything within your power to get away including scream, hit, kick, bite.

Hugs and kisses: A child or young person should know that it is nice to have kisses and cuddles, especially close family but they should never be kept as a secret from anybody.

Body: Children and young people should all know that their body belongs to them and not to anyone else. They should be told that if anyone tries to touch their body in a way that you don’t want them to or it frightens them or hurts, they should shout NO and tell somebody about what happened and not keep it a secret from others close to you such as parents, carers and teachers and they shouldn’t feel

In the present day there are some products that Nike would not have to do and at the same time do very well. One of their brands is Air Jordan, and in my opinion Nike is able to go without this brand. Having a sub brand under their big Nike one is economically right, as both Nike and Air Jordan are producing the same products for the same sport. Therefore since they make very similar products Air Jordan should merge together with Nike and that way it will be better for their economy. Nike is also a producer of baseball equipment. One of the products that they could eliminate is the production of baseball gloves because it has barley part in this market as Rawlings dominates most of the baseball glove market. And Nike is not a huge competitor against them since there are bigger companies that could challenge them but Nike is not one. That was they will save money on the production of these baseball gloves that do not sell well. Similarly, Nike also produces tennis clothing and shoes. But these products are extremely similar to the ones under their running products, similarly to the Air Jordan situation. Once again it would be better economically to merge these two brands together to increase the profit of Nike as a whole.…

Children learn by trying out new experience and making choices. However they do not have the skill and judgement to always make safe choices. A child should never feel uncomfortable about someone they are with or something that is being done to them. It is therefore important to educate children so they are aware of dangers posed to them and how to avoid those threats. It is important that children understand there bodies and how they work in an age appropriate way. The Keepsafe Code is an effective way of getting the message across to young children. Older children need more detailed and relevant information such as sexual function, drugs and sexual infections. As the children are young in my setting I often use everyday things to teach them such as if they are in the garden and over by the gate I will explain that we don’t talk to strangers through the gate or receive items off any people, I will ask them why they think we should not do this and explain it to them also. Another example is just general conversation when doing things like hand washing again asks them why they think we wash our hands before snacks and build on their ideas. Then as the pass through the years of an educational setting they will continue to build their…

We need to build positive relationships with children ensuring that they are open and trusting as this lays the foundation for them to know and feel that it is appropriate and acceptable to talk to us about anything. We should talk to children in a calm and relaxed manner and at the child’s level as this is one of the most powerful ways of giving them a clear message. We have to encourage children to have their own voice by having their own opinions and views about things and events in order that they are able to learn how to make informed decisions that are not unduly influenced by others around them. In short practitioners should:- ensure that all children and young people are taught to keep themselves safe, encourage them to talk about their worries and speak to others, use age appropriate language when speaking to pupils, never promise not to tell others if a pupil discloses that they have been abused, set an example by encouraging co-operation and positive…

It is important to safeguard children and young people as without this protection their future could be negatively affected. Their health and development could be impaired as its possible they could withdraw from family and peers which would affect them emotionally and also developmentally fall behind with educational milestones (if school is missed). Children and young people need to be protected from neglect and abuse and have a safe environment in which to grown up in with parents, teachers and any other close adult being approachable and accessible if needed, when/if any problem or concerns were to arise. This is all crucial in a child’s upbringing as the care they receive through their childhood will contribute to the success of the child’s ability to reach their full potential into adulthood.…

I would like you to step back from your collected thoughts and think about Assisted Suicide. Assisted Suicide is a very delicate and controversial subject around the world and has been for many years. Euthanasia is also a term commonly used for or with assisted suicide. Both of these terms defined mean the purposeful act of death by a terminally ill person going through pain and suffering, with the assistance of a doctor, family member, or any other willing individual. By reading The Merrian-Webster Dictionary and Thesaraus, I have found out that assisted suicide and euthanasia definition and information, have strayed from the original background. Upon reading about this subject, I would not have thought that it all originated from Greece.…
