From the beginning of the song The Beatles bring a poppy and constant tempo, since it is a happy love song. For the most part there are only 6 simple chords and 2 different ones which only take place during the chorus of the song in both version. Amy's cover although it has the same chords it's played very differently. Since this song was written during the 60s letter writing was a common way of communicating. When Paul says "And then while I'm away, I'll write home everyday" and "All my loving I will send to you, All my loving darling I'll be true" he is not so much booing about how much he misses his love but reassuring her that he will not stop thinking about her while he goes away and hoping they will be reunited soon. Unlike Amy's version which has a more sensitive and mellow feel to it. Even from the beginning you can begin to tell that she is sad about her love.
