We also meet Walid, living a miserable life as a camel rider in a camp on the outskirts of Abudai. His father is dead and his mother works in Abudai, and he must win enough money racing camels to buy his freedom and return to his mother. The two boys face instances of real danger and come close to losing their lives on several occasions, but by working together they are finally returned to the compound and to safety. By structuring the movie into several chapters like this, it makes it easier for audiences to watch and focus on one thing at one time. For example, in the Chapter 3: The Origin of O-Ren Ishii tells a story on how O-Ren started becoming an assassin which was when her parents were killed in front of her eyes and made her who she was. The audience will also be able to understand the movie as flashbacks were also included so that they will know the reason why The Bride was seeking for revenge to her old team. However, there are some scenes in the movie were illogical or irrational to be happening in the real world. For example, during the first few minutes of the movie, it is shown that The Bride was being shot right on the head so there was no way possible that she should still be alive.…

The story is a really good story confusing but humorous. At first, as you go reading, the story gives you a different idea of what is going to happen in it. Muni, the Indian village, wasn’t a wealthy man but he had his cattle to live on, but as it cattle went dying he was just left with 2 goats. He didn’t have much money, he was always asking for credit to the shop man and was always inventing lies to get the credit (the lies he came up with were funny). What confuses me more is when the foreigner comes into the story. They both are talking to themselves as if they were in a dialogue, which they aren’t cause they don’t understand themselves and they don’t respond to any of their stories or comments, so they were talking in a monologue and explaining their own lives. What is funny again is the ending of the story were Muni gets a hundred rupees for what he thinks that are his goats when it actually isn’t.…

A Horse and Two Goats, written by R.K. Narayan is about a poor, elderly, Tamil-speaking farmer living in the tiny village of Kritam. Matiu, with his enthusiasm and lovingness, is an interesting character as he has helped me understand the theme of migrating to a different place with people you love (who do not want to move) in ‘Yellow Brick Road’. An example of Matiu’s enthusiasm includes the time when Matiu states, with an cheery tone “we’re almost there! Almost at Wellington, the Emerald City!” – relating his destination to the sought-out Emerald City of the Wizard of Oz, while his mother’s “eyes are still red with the crying.” This has helped me understand the idea that Matiu, while eager to go to a new place, does not quite know of and is not quite aware of the sadness and uncertain feelings of the other members of his family. However, he is not afraid to share his expensive lollies with them (“you want one, Mum? You want one, Dad? Roha?), possibly to cheer them up, demonstrating to me that he is a very loving child who cares about his family, even though he cannot grasp the situation entirely.…
