Desiree: A Short Story
Angelica sense a disturbing event occurring on earth. She left the heavenly-gates to investigate. "I forbid you, Desiree. Cease your intervention of the mortal realm." Angelica swung her magical staff, as a sign of warning.

Desiree is annoyed by Angelica's threat. "Don't threaten me so harshly, big sister. I merely provided the wish he asked for." She roll her eyes, mockingly.

Angelica invisibly viewing John's interaction with his mother. "Is this the wish he ask for, unaware of the sin he has created?!" She look at Desiree, angrily. "His soul will be unforgiven, because you purposely twisted his wish!"

Desiree growl. "It's not my fault his wish isn't precise! All human think about is lust and greed...Why do you care for one insignificant soul?" She continue to argue. "Like you...big sister. I need a soul to feed on in order to exist."

"Enough! Arguing with you with you will accomplish nothing! You're not exactly the devil himself, there no contract for his soul!" Angelica spread her wings. "We will continue this argument in a less distressful moment, little sister. I will return, hell-spawn of Satan!"

There's a few thought occurred on her mind. She can try to persuade John to finish the last wish, but letting him continue to use his power unknowingly. His soul will continue to grow more edible, with each demented act.

John is sitting in his room, playing on his PlayStation four. Desiree sat beside him, acting innocently. "Have you come to a conclusion, on your last wish, young master?"

John put his controller down and reply. "I don't know Desiree, your last wish was pretty bogus. Seriously, nothing works at all!" John look at her skeptically. "How do I know, you're not going to con me...like my last wish?"

Desiree chuckle and thought of a devious excuse. "Nonsense, young master. I have been trapped in my bottle for centuries, my magic isn't fully

Within the first three minutes of the episode, Angelica goes from extreme highs to lows regarding her mood and behavior. She has a difficult temperament due to being egocentric and extroverted. Angelica sees the world through her perspective only, and any ideas that are not hers are not worth listening to. When finding out she was a finalist for the talent show she was ecstatic, until Suzie’s name was announced following hers which brought on a fit of rage. Immediately she became competitive which heightened when the girls decided to both perform dance routines. There is a scene when Angelica is in her room having a conversation aloud with herself, an example of private speech, where she says how horrible it would be for Suzie to win, since the winner gets a trip to her favorite theme park. I noticed that she acts on impulse and there is little thought put into the consequences of her actions a good majority of the time, which Freud would describe as her Id. The first example of this was when Angelica went over Tommy’s house who is Suzie’s neighbor. She dug through the toy box to find binoculars which were used to spy on Suzie. While spying she sees how beautiful Suzie’s costume is coming along, and ultimately gets caught by Suzie. Another example of Angelica acting on her Id occurred the day of the talent show when Suzie came in with sparkly new tap shoes. As soon as Suzie…
