Destiny Ride Again Analysis
Destiny Rides Again (1939) Director and Lead Actress Director George Marshall was born on December 29, 1891 in Chicago, Illinois. He was one of America's earlier directors and is most well known for directing comedies. He worked closely with Lucille Ball on many different projects, leading her to ask him to direct her show Here's Lucy (1968-1974). Some of his most famous projects include: How the West Was Won (1962), Destiny Rides Again (1939), and The Blue Dahlia (1946).

As the New York Times Archives (February 18, 1975, page 32) states, Marshall “made more than 400 movies in his 62 years as a Hollywood director.” In 1967, Marshall was nominated for the Best Director at the Laurel Awards. Unfortunately, he “died three days after
