Conception
(9 months before birth)
To complete this process, an egg cell needs a genetic code to create a new life which is carried by the sperm cell. If a male and a female had a sexual intercourse, the sperm from the male will be delivered to the female’s reproductive system which is called the cervix. From the cervix, only a few sperm cells will make it through and they will travel and race to reach the egg cell of the female. Once the sperm cells reached to the egg cell, they will penetrate through the egg cell but only one will make it. And if the sperm penetrates the egg cell, it seals it and the other remaining cells outside dies.
Now the genetic code from the sperm is successfully received by the egg cell, they will then join and start the process for creating a new life.
In this process, the baby’s brain starts to form.
Soon before birth, the baby will then also start to have emotional feelings.
The baby may feel his/her mother’s love and affection towards him/her.
Then the baby may show emotional behaviour like, the baby may smile or feel happy while inside his/her mother’s womb. Basically, the baby begin to have a social life starting with her mother. Even though the baby doesn’t have the ability to speak, he can still hear his mother frequently talking to him so this develops the baby’s social life.
