Difference Between Alternative Energies (Ae) and Fossil Fuels
1/ what is the essential difference between alternative energies (AE) and fossil fuels?
Alternative energies will not have a lot of pollution, but fossil fuels will cause some pollution of the environment. Some fossil fuels causes environmental pollution, for example, global climate change, a lot of carbon dioxide cause the greenhouse effect, acid rain emissions of harmful gases cause serious pollution to the atmosphere.

2/ name the AE that you have chosen to research.
Solar Energy

3/ identify the – source or origin of this energy;
According to records, human use of solar energy has 3,000 years of history. Solar power as an energy source and make use of only 300 years of history. Real solar as "the recent much-needed additional energy," "the basis for the future energy mix," is a recent thing. Since the 70s of the 20th century, solar energy technology advances, solar energy with each passing day. The history of modern solar energy engineer from France Solomon and Germany 1615 Cox invented the world 's first solar-powered engines counting. The invention is a use of solar energy for heating the air to expand power and water pumping machines. In the years between 1615 to 1900, the world has developed into more than one solar power plant and some other solar devices. Almost all of these power plants collect the sun by concentrating mode, engine power is not, working fluid is mainly water vapor, expensive, little practical value, the majority of personal research and manufacturing of solar enthusiasts. 100 years of the 20th century, the history of solar energy technology can be generally divided into seven phases, the following description separately. Location(s) of this energy source.
Australia
China Spain United States
4/ explain how the energy is obtained/extracted/produced. (Labelled diagrams will be quite useful in your answer).
Collected by solar panels and convert the chemical energy stored in the battery, and then you can use it

    A fossil fuel is a natural fuel such as coal or gas, formed in the geological past from the remains of living organisms. There are many environmental and economic costs behind the exploration of fossil fuels, and as demand is ever increasing, these costs in turn are multiplying.…

    “Unfortunately, the process involved in using the fuels released fumes into the air that are harming the planet.” Since fossil fuels are not a renewable source it will eventually run out. “In 1987 the United Nations said that we should aim for sustainable energy.” Meaning countries should start developing sources of energy that will never run out or harm the planet. “Fossil fuel power plants burn oil, coal, or natural gas.“That heat produced is used to turn water into steam.” “The steam powers machines called turbines, and the turbines then power generations that produce electricity.” However burning fossil fuels also releases harmful substances into the air, such as oxides says Vic. “These oxides mix with water vapor and fall to earth as acid rain,” which is harmful to the…

    3) The third advantage that fossil fuels have is the ease at which they can be transported. Fossil fuels like coal are able to be transported by train, while oil and natural gas are transported by pipelines. This ease of transportation enables the places that convert these fossil fuels into usable forms, to not have to worry much about location (Buzzle.com, 2013). 4) And lastly, fossil fuels are not only used for energy, but also to create byproducts such as plastic that are used in almost everything (Locsin, n.d.).…

    Waterpower exists because the sun makes the oceans to become steam so that the water can flow back as rivers, with enormous power. Wind power exists because different parts of the atmosphere absorb different amounts of solar heat and then comes into collision with each other. All biological fuels gets as you know their energy using photosynthesis and all fossil fuels, like oil and coal, are biological material that has been transformed to fossil fuels under certain circumstances. As a matter of fact, you could say that nearly all energy is solar energy. However, in this assignment we shall explain a little about solar energy that hasn’t been transformed.*A1, C5…

    There are three main ways to collect solar power. The first two are called passive system and active system. These use the sun 's energy to heat up an object which can be transferred to another object or an empty space. An active system 's power can even be turned into electricity. An even better way to get electricity from the sun is achieved by panels called photovoltaic cells. The sunlight is directly converted into electricity by the panels and can run almost anything, sunlight providing. These three different techniques show us that there can be many different ways to acquire power other than the conventional and hazardous methods we use today. Passive heating, thermal energy, and photovoltaics give the world many different ways to reap the benefits of solar power.…

    Today nearly half of the world’s energy is provided by petroleum. What began as a cheap and abundant way to provide energy, has become expensive, environmentally harmful, and finite. With population explosions and the demands of modern lifestyles, the world’s need for energy production has become far too much for fossil fuels to keep up with. Experts say that the Earth’s stores of petroleum will be depleted by 2050. The need to find a viable source of energy within this generation’s lifetime that can power cars and provide electricity to homes. Some of the alternative energy sources include: wind energy, nuclear energy, and solar energy. Of the three, only solar is capable of producing enough energy to power the world. Solar energy producers fall into two separate categories: thermal solar collectors and photovoltaic panels. Thermal solar energy collectors are “a source of hot water that can be used for heating or for making steam to generate electricity” (Nersesian 2007). They are the simpler of the two types and much more inexpensive. They have many practical applications such as pool warmers and water heaters. Photovoltaic panels convert solar energy directly into electricity. They are large and the technology is still fairly expensive. Solar energy is a viable option to replace fossil fuels because it is the most financially viable long term, is a renewable resource that will not harm the environment, and each system can operate independently.…

    The history of solar energy dates back two thousand seven hundred years. During that time period, people used glass lenses in order to ignite a fire. Greeks were the first people to use passive solar designs. They created buildings with southern-facing windows that allowed the sun to heat and light their homes. In the nineteenth century, a French physicist named Edmund Bequerel discovered that light energy could create a “photovoltaic effect.” A “photovoltaic effect” occurs when a device uses light from the sun to create an electric current. Solar cells were invented in the…
