You have to put your ID cards over the detectors (event trigger) and they then execute the code for the barriers to open or closed. If the ID card is accepted, the code will be run for the light to change green and for the barrier to open but if the ID card isn’t accepted, then the code will be run for the red light to show and the barriers will not open. Also, people go in and out from the same direction so this can also be a problem as someone may wanting to go out and someone may wanting to go in.…

Do you hate having a messy unorganized classroom with desks scattered all over the room? I you do, you should try our arrangement of desks. It is simple, safe, and easily accessible. As you know the desks in here are very cluttered and unorganized at the moment, but we have a quick, easy, and understandable solution. We think it would be a smart idea to arrange the desks in rows of eight with a walkway in the middle. We would place the table against the wall in the back of the classroom. We would place four desks and then make a space between the next four desks. We would have four full rows of desks and then in the very back we would have two desks on either side of the four desks. We know that our solution will work for everyone. It may…

We need to monitor the number of empty slots in the parking areas by setting up a sensor EN allocated in the ENTRANCE whereas the output of this sensor is HIGH (1) when there is a car entering the parking area. On the other hand, EX is allocated in the EXIT; the output of this sensor is HIGH (1) when there is a car leaving the parking areas. Hence, both of the sensors are connected to a sequential digital circuit for which we call it an up-down counter for which the circuit is used to count the number of cars entering and exiting the parking areas; the output of this circuit is connected to the 7-segments decoder to convert each BCD code to ten possible number from 0 to 9 in order display the number of empty slots available and to display the word FULL when there are no empty parking slots available as shown below:…

Early level crossings had a flagman in a nearby booth that would, on the approach of a train, wave a red flag or lantern to stop all traffic and clear the tracks. Manual or electrical closable gates that barricaded the roadway were later introduced. The gates were intended to be a complete barrier against intrusion of any road traffic onto the railway. The first U.S. patent for such crossing gates was awarded on 27 August 1867, to J. Nason and J. F. Wilson, both of Boston.[1] Today radar sensor systems for automatic level crossing free detection are a cheap way to improve safety.…
