Difference Between Insane And Disneyland
After finishing this audiobook I have found out the ending. In the end, Belle got out of the castle to save her mother who had been tortured out of her magic and deprived of food. She was held captive in an Insane asylum along with others who were wrongly accused of being “insane.” It was definitely something totally different from Disney's version. In the Disney's version, everyone from the castle turns back to how they were before. But in this version the Beast did not turn back he decided that instead of turning back into human form he rather have his servants back into humans while he stayed in beast form. This showed the character development because in the beginning he was known for being selfish and self-centered like how most royalties

The Disney version of Pocahontas and the real story have many differences such as the romance, Pocahontas’ personality, and how the story ended. Disney has romanticized the tragic story of Pocahontas into not one, but two cartoons, with a target audience of children. And with deeply embedded messages into the plot of love and strength, many differences surface, showing off Disney’s ability to make a story of war, captives, and death a happy tale for children to enjoy.…

The stage of the road of trials is a series of tests, tasks or challenges that the hero must undergo to prepare for the final boom. The movie demonstrates the road of trials by letting Belle teaches the Beast manners, dance, and how to be a gentleman. Unlike other hero's harsh trials, Belle’s trail is more about the development of feeling which she has on the Beast. The following stage is meeting with the goddess, where the hero experiences a love. Belle falls in love with the Beast when he saved her from the attack of wolves and showed her his extensive library, however Belle doesn’t aware that she loves the…

With much assistance from her new friends, Belle uses her idealistic personality to draw the beast out of his isolation, and eventually break the curse. Belle uses her optimism, bravery, and imagination to save the characters within the castle. If Belle did not have the personality of an idealist, the outcome of the story could have ended in numerous different ways. She uses her optimism to give the characters hope. She uses her bravery to stand up to her violent village. She uses her imagination to help her become open to the idea of saving the castle before it is too late. Without this heroine the characters would have been cursed forever; fortunately The Idealist pulls through and they lived happily ever…

The musical was the first Broadway adaptation produced by Disney, and was based on the 1991 animated film by Linda Woolverton with music and lyrics by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice. The Broadway show differed from the original film in several interesting and impressive ways, adored by audiences. Several new songs were written for the Broadway musical, including “Home”, which was a ballad sung by Belle, which quickly became the well known hit song of the musical. The change of songs and addition of the new ballad gave a different look and feel to the Broadway version of the popular film. The characters who were animations on film, were now portrayed by humans, which added a new dimension to the live performance. The performers had the responsibility of bringing these inanimate objects to life on stage through movement, costume and choreography. Beauty and the Beast had a continuous run, until the final performance took place on July 29, 2007 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. This beloved Disney musical had 5,461 performances, and the show is currently the eighth-longest run in Broadway history. Beauty and the Beast has been performed internationally first in Melbourne, Australia and has also been performed in London, Toronto, Kyoto, Seoul, Stuttgart, Sydney, Mexico City, Guayaquil, Johannesburg, Madrid, Moscow,…

The opening line “My father lost me to the beast at cards” with emphasis on “Lost me” to highlight how her father objectifies her and treats her as possession he can bargain with; this being shocking for he clearly presents no paternal characteristics and discards his daughter with no remorse from it “He laughs as with glee”. The beast however shows himself to be very vulnerable; his gift of the teardrop earrings to the girl were a coded plea for her to take note of the beast’s emotional distress. This is evident whence the beast licks her face and “My earrings turned back to water and trickled down my shoulders; I shrugged the drops off my beautiful fur.” This highlights how he has what he wants and feels emotionally satisfied. Another interpretation of this is that all this time he has worn a mask with a human face for he is ashamed of his appearance but now he feels he has become a man showing his true self to the girl which is why the earrings – the symbol of his emotional distress – turn to water and disappear; also to highlight that in every beauty there is a beast and in every beast there is a beauty. The beast is arguably more humane for he is vulnerable and has varying emotions, one being his love for the girl; this being very humane…

(Poe, 22) This is one of the most intriguing lines in the short story ‘The Tell Tale Heart’ written by Edgar Allan Poe. This quote defines the whole purpose of the short story in fewer than two sentences. The whole story is dedicated to proving that the narrator in the short story is actually, sane. Due to many pieces of evidence, one can have various opinions in debating whether the narrator is insane or sane. For instance, the narrator in the story watched the old man sleep for countless days, cut up the corps of the old man and placed in under the boards, and claimed he heard the heartbeat of the old man once he was dead. Therefore it is unmistakeable that the narrator in the short story ‘The Tell Tale Heart’ is in fact, insane.…

Although they never encountered a threat directly to her, they didn't do anything but listen to Gaston's propaganda. The only community in need of help that calls for adventure is a community of one, which is her father. He stumbled into the Beast's castle for proof for the townspeople and has made himself prisoner so he needs his daughter, Belle, to come bail him out. The price of taking her father's place as prisoner might be the best thing that's ever happened to her because later on she becomes emotionally attached to Beast as they spend a lot of time together in the castle. Another possible community would be the castle where the Beast and his household items who help out Belle and give advice to her about Beast. This shows that the household items favor her and are her "mentors." The monsters portrayed in this story are the wolves that block Belle from coming near the castle, but Beast fights them off to protect her. In the end, Belle's "homecoming" is being reunited with her father, her only community she had left from the small town. She is also reunited with Beast, which benefits both of them as well because she falls in love with him and lifts the curse from him. Beast finally transforms back to a human and they lived happily together in the castle. I believe Belle's role in Beauty and the Beast is very much alike to Odysseus' in The Odyssey. He…
