The Cultural Differences between Chinese and Western Food
Abstract
Food is one of the most enjoyable aspects of cultures to share. Every place has its own culinary delights to discover.
Food culture can reflect the indication of human social development and improvement.
In this paper, food ideas and values, food production, processing and other aspects of cooking, compared the consumer psychology of Chinese and Western food culture differences, and a brief analysis of both the future direction of development.
By analysis of the differences between Chinese and Western dietary cultures, we can comprehend the respective cultural traditions of China and the west.

Introduction
With the deepening of the international communication, different countries or cultural background, food and beverage products are influenced by geographical features , climate environment, customs and other factors.
Differences will appear in the raw materials, flavors, cooking methods, eating habits. It is precisely because of these differences, food and beverage products are regional. The difference of dietary culture between Chinese and westerners will arouse culture misunderstanding.
