Digital Literacy

This article offers senior undergraduate students understand digital literacy. They understand how to understand and engage in digital practice for knowing how to choose the right tools, use and create information, or find a person online. The student selects learning tools by themselves and to create artifacts i.e. Prezi (create a presentation), Wikispaces (create a WebQuest), Inspirartion (create concept maps), Hot Potatos (create a quiz), Mahara (create a ePortofolio) (Ng, 2012).

The significant findings of plagiarism, the section on manage and communication information, the educator, instructor and librarian should be infusing plagiarism into the general education and/or research courses. Because no courses that teaching how to write a citation, paraphrase and summarize research paper. This is an important point of digital literacy that all levels of undergraduate students are awareness plagiarism. Although, plagiarism is a little part of digital literacy, both instructor
and students should be respected other people work, that is ethical and legal. The instructors will need to a) emphasize the seriousness of plagiarism; b) impress on the students that they know how to detect it; and c) that offenders will be punished (Heckler, and Forde, 2015).

The significant learning tools that Facebook, Google+ and email are popular tools. Mostly, Facebook and google+ were used for communication with peer and instructor. Youtube was interested tool for learning because there are images, audios, video, animations attracted students. Google Docs is a word processing that students can use individually or collaborate working group. Lastly, the significant learning tools is LinkedIn that a social networking site designed specifically for the user in each field community. The student can create own profile and find people or expert in their field and contact them for sharing knowledge.

The significant size of the correlation between learning tools and digital literacy is low, because they are commonly used learning tools in everyday life, not enough use for learning in and out the classroom.
The researcher recommends instructor should be integrated learning tools depend on objective of their courses. The instructor can try out the significant learning tools for pilot projects in some unit. Consequently, the student will use the new learning tools for practicing digital literacy in understand and engage digital tools, find information, critically evaluate information, collaborate and share digital content, manage and communicate information. In addition, they will practice more and more in cognition skill, operating skill with digital tools, awareness other people work and message on online. They will be learning digital literacy and using appropriate digital tools for working in the future. Moreover, they can be learning digital tools by themselves and lifelong
learning.
