Dionysus's Effect On Life

Dionysus was a god of many things. He was the god of wine, drugs, revelry, Cheer, completeness, and also lord of the dance of life. Dionysus stood for the positive and negative effects on life, in general. Many compared him to Zeus, which was the God of all Gods. Semele, which was his mother, died before he was born. In regards, his father removed him from his mother’s womb and stitched him into his leg until he was ready to be born. However, when Dionysus was born, Hera made arrangements for the Titans to steal the baby away. Once Dionysus was far enough away from his father, the titans moved in quickly, took the young boy, and managed to rip him into pieces causing him to die. After the death, the god’s had no idea that they would witness one of the first resurrections. Rhea, god of War, managed to somehow bring the boy back to life again. Once the child was alive again Zeus came up with a protection plan for his young boy. He gave him to the mountain nymphs to be brought up and raised out of harm’s way. Once Dionysus became an adult, he travelled across the world spreading his culture. While
Dionysus was well and alive during the harvest time, but during the winter he died like everything else, and returning again during harvest time. He was also the last God to enter Olympus. While most gods had immortal parents he was the only one with a mortal mother. Many people believe that he was born by fire and nursed by the rain. Many people also held festivals in order show their honor to him. Not only was he honored by festivals but he was also in many lyrical poems. Not many people know about the capture of him by the pirates because he looked like the child of a kind. They took him with hoping that the family would pay for his return, but their plans had been ruined. They could not seem to keep him hostage because the ropes all seemed to fall apart when the touched his
