Has social media changed the way people live today? This is what I’ll be talking about in this essay, Giving advantages and disadvantages to the use of social media. Social networking sites hit the highest points in the year 2007. These sites encouraged online social connections. Early sites such as SixDegrees.com and Friendster let people manage who they choose as their friends.

Social media has changed the lives of billions of people around the world. It has changed the lives of billions of people because of the issues they have with privacy. Social media means that the company running the site must get some of your personal information, this is a concern for many parents as it is mainly children who use these sites. There are stories about how people are exploited in many different ways.
