Power is the ability to do something or act in a particular way. “Power corrupts, but absolute power corrupts absolutely”-and this is proved in Orwell's short novel. The statement means that mostly people who acquire power eventually use it for personal purposes. At first they might try to focus their power on things that can help to make the lives of others better, but unfortunately if this power is unlimited, they start to use it only for themselves. Throughout the human history there are many good examples of this phenomenon. One of these examples was the Russian Revolution. The novel “Animal farm” is an allegory of the Russian Revolution and each animal represents a certain personality. In the novel “Animal farm” by George Orwell we can see how much people change when they get some power.

After the rebellion the pigs immediately take power into their own hands, as they assumed responsibility for great changing on the farm because the are the smartest animals, not because they wanted to get all the power and control. The pigs come up with an idea of Animalism, it is their own Government on the farm. Besides they create the Seven Commandments, the new rules of the farm, the main idea of which is that all animals are equal. All these innovations make animals on the farm feel happy, and this demonstrates that when pigs
