White privilege is a concept that is not obvious to white people as they see this concept as if they have had a difficult upbringing they do not have the same privilege as another marginalized person who has had an incredible childhood. Clearly this counter argument regarding white privilege does not fully explain what it is; white privilege simply states that white people have certain advantages and privileges simply because they are white. Tatum also discusses how important it is to focus on intersectionality in the present society and as Black women who identify as a feminist it is important to direct focus to intersectionality within society. It is important to not only take in consideration the struggles that people of color, gays, lesbians, and transsexuals face on a daily basis. Another group of people that the inclusionist feminist vision would leave out would be Global women. According to Barbra Ethrenreich in her article Global Women: Nannies, Maids and sex workers in the new economy she discusses the reliance that First World countries place on the Third world, through how numerous maids and nannies are coming from those countries as they are attempting to escape poverty or injustice against women that is still prevalent in their home country. Also, female sex workers are often mistreated and abused in First and Third world countries. Granted that by taking part in the inclusionist feminist vision we are leaving out a substantial group of marginalized sex workers and female immigrants in First World countries who are clearly
