Dissection: My Frist Year At GCU

Overall, dissecting has been an incredible experience for me. This is my frist year at GCU, and I only knew about this research project during winter break last semester. After have being invoved in the project, I feel even more motivated to study anatomy, and I wish there were more resources and opportunities such as the ones provided by the RDP project.

Since this was my first term in the project, I had to learn all the basic techniques required for dissection such as the correct use of scalpels and the blades required for them, sizor splitting, as well as safety and cleaning guidelines in the laboratory.

During this term I worked in dissection only, and I learned how to clean up adippose tissue and fascia from muscles, as well as expose
