I would like to approach that with a different take. People will not be inspired to protect animals unless they see what they are protecting them from: famine, rejection from animal groups (which can ultimately lead to death), fear, and most importantly, extinction. Animals that live in zoos never have to be concerned with whether or not they will receive an adequate amount of food. They will never have to worry about being left by a pack (a majority of zoos do not usually keep a large quantity of one species of animal). And, they will not have to worry about going
