Documentary: How Many People Can Live on Planet Earth? 1. Why is our Human population increasing super fast?
Our human population is increasing very fast due to two important factors. One of them is that there are many young people that want to create their own children, therefore creating high birth rates. Another factor affecting population is declining death rates. With the modern day technology and innovations, death rates are declining very fast and the quality of life has improved greatly over the last 50 years. 2. Why is the population growing faster in 3rd world countries than the U.S.A?
Population is growing faster in third-world countries because of 2 reasons. One reason is that the economy in third world countries and developing countries is increasing due to the technological advances in these recent years, giving a wealth and standard of living increase in the people living in those countries. The second reason why the population is increasing is because of the health improvements and medical advances becoming more readily available in those countries resulting in a longer lifespan. 3. Why do we ignore the population growth problem?
We ignore the population growth problem because, to control such a problem like this, it takes drastic measures that most people would not even think of doing or would just think it is not right. For example, a person would not like to hear that they are not allowed to reproduce anymore or have as many children as they want to have. So, many people that want to help usually avoid or ignore the problem as it would take a gradual but effective way to solve the population growth problem. 4. How many people can earth handle living on it?
