Heredity is the passing of traits to offspring from its parents or ancestor. This is the process by which an offspring cell or organism acquires or becomes predisposed to the characteristics of its parent cell or organism. A personality can be express as the beliefs, behaviors, attitudes and values that distinguish an individual. Each individual has unique personalities which differentiate us from others. Our personality is determined by a number of factors. These include environment and genetics. Our personality is the product of the interaction of these two factors. Even twins who look alike and are reared in the same environment differ in personalities. It is not exclusively molded by the environment or genetics but a combination of both.
