During Home Health Care treatment a patient is in the comfort and safety of their own home, they are allowed to sleep when they want, eat what they want, and do what they please. During care, a patient is seen by the same care giver, unlike care in facilities where you could have a new care giver every day. This results in care to be continuously “one on one” treatment which betters a relationship with care giver and patient. According to “Bayada Home Health”, “Adults that age stay healthier with social interaction, such as interaction with their health care worker” (Page 1). A better relationship between the patient and care giver can create a better, faster recovery. Some may say patients receiving care in their own home will result in a slower recovery due to the lack of equipment available to have in a home or the lack of space for equipment. While this is true there are certified staff that can be assigned to “modify” one’s home. In fact “Care Centrix” says that “A certified aging-in-place specialist can provide helpful advice regarding remodeling of a living space to make it accessible and safe for an elderly person for the long term” (page 1). Nothing is set in stone and much freedom is allowed throughout the care giving process. This “freedom” is a very good thing for the patient and care giver, allowing them both time to get things done that they need to and not stress about their day. One of the best things about this “freedom” throughout the patient’s day is that visiting hours are unlimited for friends and family due to the fact that the patient is in their own home. Most Health Care facilities don’t have this advantage, they have a time frame for visiting hours. Also some Health Care facilities only allow family to visit the patient and the process can be complicated. The biggest thing about Health Care facilities that keep patients for Care is that (depending on the rules and what type of facility they are in) they can be permitted to keep patients on the premises until discharged and not allow them to leave. For example, a local Hospital called “Onslow Memorial Hospital”, “Visitors are encouraged to visit during the hospital visitation hours of 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.” (Visitor information page). Onslow Memorial Hospital also says “The quiet hour is from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. and from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. An overhead announcement will commence the quiet hour. We ask visitors to allow this time for patients to rest” (Visitor information page). At Onslow Memorial Hospital family is allowed to visit 24 hours,
