1. In the first half of the lecture we discussed an example of a "pathosformel" and how it was recycled from ancient Roman times to the twentieth century. What exactly was this pathosformel, what did it mean, and how did it evolve over time? Be sure to name names and be as detailed and as specific as possible.

Aby Warburg found the term – Pathosformel, the feeling formula to describe motif, which has emotional charge.
