Introduction
The internet is one of the most powerful instruments today when it comes to obtaining information, entertainment, and wealth. Net neutrality, which was issued by the FCC under the Obama administration in 2015, is the principle behind the openness and freedom of browsing the internet, regardless of the content, source, or use. These rules have prohibited internet service providers from blocking, slowing down, charging for, or favoring certain applications online. Analysis: These groups will be misrepresented and won’t be able to fight back against discrimination. When activist groups are able to bring thousands of people together for protests on the streets at such short notice, it’s because the ISPs cannot block their announcements or sites.
Counter argument: Some may argue that the repeal of net neutrality will promote competition, innovation and media diversity in order to advance the public
