Trying to bathe a puppy in a bathtub can be a test of human endurance and agility. However, it can be well worth the effort. Although you may have visions of your puppy soaking wet running through your clean house, bath time doesn't always have to be dreadful for you and your little guy. Knowing your furry friend is clean and content makes this rigorous process, much more doable. Also, you will get the satisfaction of not having your home smell like the zoo. With a bit of planning and hard work, anyone can make this operation smooth and effortless.
The first step of this difficult challenge, is gathering all of your materials. These include, a tiny swimming pool or bathtub, a handful of towels with a leash and large cup or pitcher, and some water and shampoo.

If possible, pick out a shampoo with a strong scent to combat those first few frolics and rolls through the dirt that your puppy is bound to take. The Hartz company makes an herbal scented brand of shampoo that will have your dog smelling better than ever. Before you start, you want to take a few of those towels that you grabbed and place them around the pool or tub in order to save your house from the massive amounts of water that likely splashes everywhere.
