But the case is somewhat unusual. Normally, the victims of domestic violence are females or children, but in this case, a man is the victim of domestic violence. He has to suffer beatings as well as rape from his wife on a daily basis. There are plenty of awareness and programmed for women suffering from domestic abuse, but since men suffering domestic abuse are not heard of very often, solutions for this kind of problem is scarce(Norrie et al., 2016). Also, there is a certain misconception associated with it. The society thinks that men are able to defend themselves and are not victims of any kind of domestic abuse. Any men suffering from abuse from a female is ridiculed instead of being supported and helped(McGarry et al., 2015). There is also another added problem to this case. The man is an illegal immigrant to the country and faces the risk of being deported to his own country if he reports his abuse. For this situation, my recommendations are as follows:
1. Conduct awareness programs about domestic abuse where the victims are male. Make the public aware that these victims need to be treated with respect and should be supported instead of ridiculing or humiliating them.
2. The government should make policies and legislations about men victims of domestic abuse. The government has various plans and policies to end the different violence that are faced by women and girls. Such plans and policies needs to be developed for men victims as well.
3. Conducting rehabilitations programs for victims of
