Dominos Pizza
| Assignment 1: Making Decisions Based on Demand and Forecasting |

One of the international pizza delivery corporations having head quarter in Michigan is known as Domino’s Pizza, which was founded in the year 1960. Domino Pizza has gained a marvelous business all over the world including USA, UK and Spain too. Recently, is actively increasing and spreading its business and sale of its products across numerous geographic boundaries.
In terms of product growth, Domino 's continues to offer new products. Strong growth and profit margins and a relatively good competitive position make Domino 's Pizza a tasty investment choice. Its shares are not cheap, but they still offer a good value and an opportunity to participate in Domino 's profitable growth. The company has 22% of the domestic market for pizza delivery, 52%+ of its revenues coming from overseas, a well accepted brand, efficient supply chain distribution, and new product offerings. All this should help Domino 's Pizza weather any inflationary or economic headwinds relatively well. I recommend investors to consider buying Domino 's shares. In support of their investment, to celebrate Columbus Day, or just to satisfy their appetite for pizza, investors should also download Domino 's app to their smart phones and try one (or more) of Domino 's pies.

Investigative journalism has established that in order to keep societal values sincere to a nation and not have them corrupted by big business, the government needs to regulate business affairs. Yet, no matter the time period, muckrakers, such as Helen Hunt Jackson and Morgan Spurlock, have been able to passionately investigate and expose these issues concerning American values, in order to evoke a social reform. For Jackson, she began her writing career because of depression and loneliness. After simply attending a lecture on the mistreatment of the Ponca Indians, Jackson became devoted to changing the way the government treated them. The American Government at the time supported the Railroad companies that were kicking the Native Americans off their homes. Jackson thought this was despicable and began advocating for a change in the government relations with the Native Americans. Morgan Spurlock on the other hand, became festered with exposing the harmful effects of McDonald’s directly, after learning about a failed lawsuit attempt against them. The government protected the rights of the McDonald’s corporation in the lawsuit because they felt that the two girls had no evidence to back up their claims of the food being made so cheaply, that it was causing serious heath defects such as obesity. In his documentary “Supersize Me”, Spurlock exposes the harmful food of McDonald’s. Both Jackson and Spurlock, tackle capitalism as it tries to corrupt the American values and replace them with the values of big business.…

Domino’s Pizza’s strong financial performance during 2006 and into 2007 has given the company a significant amount of flexibility and freedom given the increased revenues and earnings in defining its strategies for the future. For continued growth however Dominos has to reduce customer churn, drive up same-store sales, continually reinforce and strengthen their brand, capitalize on the sociocultural shifts occurring in the United States and elsewhere, and finally continually redefine its in-store dining strategies relative to the growing rise of online sales. What is remarkable about Domino’s approach to marketing is the 14.6% same-store growth the company has achieved from 2001 – 2005 according to JP Morgan (2006).
