What if you knew a carnivorous, long domesticated mammal was living in almost every neighborhood in America, and their very intent was to seek out and destroy every person that could see right into their heart. And If they can't catch that person then they'll go and kill a much smaller animal. An animal that they have hated since the day these creatures were but on this earth, and they want to show you how much they hate that animal by showing how they killed it over and over again, by killing rodents.
One cold, fall day on Lone Elm road, my neighbor Reese and I were out practicing how to punt a football when we saw a small vicious creature flash by on their street, and then it came back and stopped …show more content…
at the end of the street. Reese started running up to it while I was just standing in place because I knew what the animal was, and because I hated that very animal more than anything. Reese went up to it and couldn't figure out what it was because it had been on the streets for so long. Reese yelled back to me and said “what do you think it is?”
I answered “I know exactly what it is.” Reese just shrugged and turned back to the creature.
Just then Reese picked up the creature and started petting the animal on the head, despite its clawing and it's anemic attempt to escape.
Then Reese asked “can i punt it towards you like a football.”
“Sure” I answered. Reese trusted the creature into the air with all of his might and when it came back down it crashed into Reese's foot and went gliding through the air and plummeted to the concrete like it fell from the clouds. I went up to it and I could smell the creature and it smelt like one hundred year old fish. I picked it up and threw it back down the street before it could run away.
Reese caught it with his hands and said “i think it's a stuffed animal.” And he started banging it against the ground just to make sure it was a stuffed animal. The creature lay there for a while and then sprang to life and ran down the street. As soon as it got to the middle of the street it got hit by a car. The car came to a screeching halt and the driver got out.
He looked at us and said “ you didn't see anything.” Then he disappeared back into his car and just left.
After about one minute after he left Reese said “ He didn't look very reposeful”. I went up to the cat and poked what was left of it with a
stick.
I yelled back to Reese, who looked like he might throw up “well now I know that we should just leave stuff that isn't are’s alone, and not punt it or we will see stuff like this. Reese looked pretty disgusted but then he looked even more disgusted when the cat started moving its arm and slowly inched it's way toward us. Reese said “what the heck” and throw up on the street while running home.
The End
