What was it that initially caused the downfall of Othello? Was it Iago and his scheming ways, Cassio for being to good looking or was it Othello for is gullibility, insecurity and his jealousy of others. Othello was a Moor meaning that he already had a different colour of skin and had a different accent. He clearly did not fit into Venetian society.
