One of the main themes is “judging people by their looks is wrong.” We find this in the book when Mr. Enfield describes Mr. Hyde “ I never saw a man I so disliked, yet I scarcely know why.” Everyone seems to hate Mr. Hyde even though they don’t know anything about him, all they know is that he looks deformed. A connection to real life is that people judge others by looks such as skin colour or facial features. Instead, we should get to know people then think about based on their personality. A connection to real life is when people go through hard times, they sometimes turn to drugs to drown their problem. Instead, people should face their problems and get help from other people.
