In the story “Dragon,Dragon” the author John Gardner added humor by changing the setting to medieval times. The characters also added humor. Such as the wizard turning the queen into a flower pot. another example is the king running out of the castle doors when the queen turns back and he runs because he kept watering her so she was angry at him.
