Dramatic Irony In The Gift Of The Magi
The dramatic Irony is about a situation of drama and Is understood by the audience but not grasped by the characters in the play.Which means that only the audience knows one thing that the character doesn’t.It’s like that we know that one character has a gun behind his back and the other character doesn’t know so then we think in our minds(idiot look at his hand behind his back)!!
One example of dramatic Irony is when the wife sold her hair to get a gift for her husband.That was from the story [The Gift Of The Magi].The husband didn’t know that the wife has sold her hair.Also the wife doesn’t know that the husband sold his watch to get her,her present.
Situational Irony is the irony involving a situation in which actions have an effect that
