Jane was looking morose and so was Tia. The latter's sleepless night was telling its riotous stories on her face. Jane, Rena, Shana, Reshma and Ayesha, Tia and Beatrice were following the same weight loss program and were sisters in arms against fatty foods and soda. The seven friends were comfortable with each other and shared their trivial matters. They all worked in the same building which housed their different companies.After a few mouthfuls of steamed tofu, Shana, the forthright one blurted out.
“You two look like shit. What is the matter?”
Tia looked up and said “I could not sleep last night, I don’t know why, so I did some chores before being able to sleep again”

“No you idiots, I don’t want to die. I just want to change my life. This is not my dream this is not what I wanted. Waking up looking after the home, coming to work. Going back home. Day in day out do the same things over and over again. There is no excitement, hell I even know when I am going to have sex. My husband has slotted me in a space in his diary. It is so predictable.
