Requiring a school dress code is bad for schools because if someone is offended it isn’t anyone else’s problem but theirs. In today’s society, we too often baby people’s feelings. This doesn’t at all prepare them for the real world. No one is going to be there to baby them when they graduate and have to work a real job. Not allowing students to express themselves in a manner that differentiates them from other peers only hurts them in the long run. Some students like the fact and consider it almost like a puzzle every morning matching this with that and creating an outfit for the day.
