schools that don’t. We are here to tell you what we think, and why there should or
shouldn’t be dress codes. At the Troy Junior high, my school, the following dress code is
enforced; “there are not any hats or and other coving head things are not allowed,
shorts and skirts should not be inappropriately tight or short and midriffs must not be
exposed. If you wear pants, they must not sit excessively low, or are excessively wide

several reasons. For example, it prevents gangs, violence, theft, peer pressure, concentrate on their own work. Dress codes or uniforms can make the schools safer. Wearing a school uniform can decrease the amount of risk of violence and help the school officials recognize intruders who come to the school. These dress codes will increase punctuality among students, and peers. They have there rights to wear what they want but not to wear anything that shows anything that shouldn’t be showing. There allowed to wear whatever they want as long as it is appropriate.
There are people saying there should not be dress codes, reasons why are; if there was a dress code then they wouldn’t be able to express themselves, they wouldn’t be able to show their true character, and wear what they want to wear. The percent of dress codes will decrease a lot, because I don’t think that anyone would like to wear the same thing every single day. They would get bored of wearing the same thing everyday, and then they would be against wearing it anymore. Kid’s rather be able to wear what they want, they won’t like wearing the same outfit everyday, because it would be boring and plain to them. Dress codes should not be used because it violates the students rights to express themselves, and doesn't allow them to show who they truly
