Driving under the influences (D.U.I.), which means driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or any drugs. This causes the driver to lose control of operating the vehicle correctly which puts other drivers in danger. In other states this action is called Driving while intoxicated (D.W.I.). When the driver drink too much alcohol it causes them to have blood alcohol concentration. This gives the driver a fresh red appearance in their face. Also they take blood to see how much alcohol in your blood stream.

When you are a young offender it make matters worse, because first you shouldn't be drinking under the age of 21 and second you are drunk under the influence of driving. DUI is more than just being drunk, you can be DUI if you are high off any other drugs considering marijuana, injecting needles, or also snorting cocaine.
Some people have to use prescription such opioids which causes drowsiness, which will cause you to be DUI. So for example if you work at pizza hut and you a driver and you are prescribed for optioids your doctor shouldn't prescribe u with them if you say you are the driver. In the state of Colorado if you are pulled over by the police for DUI and you have kids in the car with you, you will be charged with child abuse.
If you are convicted of DUI it will follow you on down the road on your path way through life. If you try to get a job they would look back down your files and see that you got pulled over for DUI.
