A fad that teens tend to pick up especially in high school is drugs and alcohol. Teens sometimes feel that there is so much pressure to succeed and have a perfect GPA that some turn to drugs and alcohol to help relieve some of the weight. As teens drugs, cigarettes, and alcohol seem to be an easy way to relieve pressure. In high school, teens are forced to have good grades. Good grades require hours of homework, project, and essays. Not to add the many hours of studying. This pressure becomes a lot. Soon we ae turning to alcohol. Alcohol is easy to get our hands on, considering many of our parents drink. Some students may even turn to drugs, which are even easier to their hands on. Drugs are very easy to get one’s hands on. Whether high schools would like to admit it drugs are around. Drugs can be easily found in a high school. Students will turn to recreational drug to relieve some stress. Soon one is immune to how the drug affects their body, and turn to harder drugs. Smoking however is usually a different story.
A student is in a crowd and some people are going to take a smoke break. A student who per say struggles with self-confidence would ask to have one also.
