What are some of the other possible job responsibilities of someone in this career field? o Forensic anthropologists also help solve cases together with law enforcement and medical examiners. They also have to write lab reports to give to the police department.

I usually attend workshops, but many of my friends go to conferences or classes for their in-service training.
• What do you normally do in a day? o When I’m not at a crime scene, I’m usually behind my computer desk or testifying at a court. I have to write reports about the evidence I collected and send them to police departments or to court. Creating computer stimulated reports is also part of my regular schedule.
• Do all bloodstain pattern analysts have the same duties? o All bloodstain pattern analysts have the same obligations, except those who become mentors. Mentors have to supervise newly hired bloodstain pattern analysts and have to make sure they’re doing everything correctly. I was able to become a mentor after three years of working as a bloodstain pattern analyst.
• How many hours do you work per week? o I work 24/7 on Mondays through Fridays. Occasionally, I get called to go to a crime scene on the weekends and even the holidays.
• What are some of the things you do at a crime scene? o Some of the things I do at a crime scene are taking photographs of the blood evidence, writing down notes, and examining the blood. I also collect samples with
