Dynamic Characters In The Great Gatsby
The Great Gatsby is a novel that explains and expresses the american dream. In this novel some characters are static: they remain the same from start to finish. Others are dynamic; they emerge at the end, having undergone a substantial change. However the narrator Nick is a dynamic character because characters weren’t fazed by their surrounding compared to Nick Carraway, Nick was disgusted how people acted there, and at the end of the novel he wanted to get away from all the trouble of making money. The novel shows the american dream can lead to greed and selfishness.
