ECE Class: Reflective Analysis
Since I had this professor for ECE300 I already had an idea how the class is going to be. The class load is the same as when I had her for ECE300 (I seems like a lot if you don’t plan ahead). An A way I am happy I do not have to go and observe children like previously ECE classes I had taken because of my schedule for this semester. Being able to visit two different CBO’s and talking to parent coordinator seems more flexible with my schedule and I already have ideas where I want to go. At first I did not know what the professor was talking about when she said we had to find “CBO”. All I kept telling myself, what is CBO? Oh god, this seems hard. How can I make this work with my schedule? But once the professor gave us example I had an idea where to go. …show more content…
It’s really just who willing to do interview with me first. This is going to be first time I interview people. I feel I going to come off shy when giving the interview, all I keep thinking about what questions are we going to ask? I just hope people I interview give me enough information that I need and it does not come as boring. One the other hand, going to two different CBO’s sounds fun to be honest. It give me new experiences and hopefully I learn something out of it. I do have few ideas of larger CBO’s I like to go. This big project, seems like it can be done quicker compare then watching children due to being place in a school and waiting for a school to allow you do your observations and it was a lot of protocol (I remember one school wanting my resume, as if I am asking for a job). Hopefully, when I start working on this project things goes fast for me. I always like to get things done ASAP and this is not a class where you can slack off (knowing me I forget to do something if I slack off in this class I cannot afford that). At the end, I just hope everyone their time and I wish everyone pass the class and have a lot of

I have chosen Centerville ISD as the school to complete my Field Experience 1 for this semester. Centerville Elementary has a different setup than the average school. Because of the low population, 1st-3rd grade classes are located in one building. Each class rotates throughout the day to three different teachers. Each teacher teaches two subjects. My mentor teacher, Mrs. Childress, teaches reading in the morning and science in the afternoon. The three teachers create a collaborative environment for the students. The small building has 4 classrooms, 1 is used as a computer lab/library for all the classes.…

On 05/15/16 at approximately 2055 hours, while on patrol in the area of Nebraska Ave. N. and Columbus Dr. E., I observed two subjects standing at the front entrance of the Sunoco Convenience store located at 2317 Nebraska Ave. N. The black male subject was straddling a bicycle and the white female subject was standing next to him. The white female was holding a beverage in her left hand that was wrapped in a brown paper bag. Upon sight of my patrol vehicle, the female subject attempted to concealed the beverage on the left side of her body. As I continued to drive North on Nebraska Ave., the female subject continued to turn her body in order to conceal the beverage. A beverage wrapped in a brown paper bag is commonly used for the purchase of an alcoholic beverage.…

As part of my Business Innovation Development Project Unit, I had the opportunity to put myself into group with my friends or people I believed I could work well with. In the first stages of our group we all tried to get to know each other more through analysing personality and learning types’ test that we previously undertook. I realise we were going through the normal stages of the team formation in particular forming and norming (Tuckman, 1965). In my assignment group we had all Belbin team roles which helped us perform well throughout our project and also helped us to identify other team members’ behavioural strengths and weaknesses. During the initial stages of the group getting together I believed it was important that we all had a clear objective and somewhat of a pathway of what we wanted to achieve and that everyone shared duties within the group. My group members had roles such as researching the market to see if there is a demand for Youni which was our product for university students, they also dealt with the financial side of our product and making analysis between our product and our competitor’s product.…

My former English professor would always say “find a way 101”, whenever a student found themselves struggling in her class. At first I did not understand why she was so rude to her students, this was until after I graduated high school when I realized I was wrong. She was not rude, she was not mean, she was preparing her students for college level English classes. Reflecting on my past encounter with the toughest teacher at my former high school, I can say I feel prepared for a college level class. Although I may have taken the most rigorous class in high school, that does not mean I am expected to pass without falling short. However, I am certain that I am ready for the challenges that my professor will assign me in the fall.…

Hello Mrs.Edwards! For my Educating Exceptional Children class at OCC I have to have 4 hours of observation in an inclusion classroom, 3 hours in a regular classroom, and 3 hours in a self-contained special education classroom. I talked with Laura Lathrop, and she said I could do my 4 hours of observation in an inclusion classroom with her, but I need the clearance from you to visit the school. The dates we decided would work are 1/17, 1/19, 1/24, and 1/26 all during first block. Once I have completed those hours, I will schedule times with other teachers for my other 6 hours and get back to you with those dates and times to get approval to visit the school.…

I don’t have any questions about this class, it seems fairly straightforward and I know I’ll do well in it. As far as times that I’ll be available, I’m not quite sure. I have a job at Gordon’s, and my schedule isn’t known till a week beforehand. Also, I’m involved in theater and dance. My dance classes are on Friday’s from four to six thirty. Theater doesn’t have a set time at the moment. When they need me there to help, I go and when I’m in a show, I’ll have a schedule to go off of. I’m also in high school classes as well as another college class, so my schedule is very unpredictable. So, I suppose I am fairly concerned about that aspect of it. When I enrolled in this class, I was under the impression that I would do the class in my own time, so I don’t know how I’ll handle meeting times. I’m sure we can work something out, and I’ll try my best to fit everything in. It’s my senior year, I have to be on top of…
