Why is it that Florence Sabin had so many accomplishments? In her early life, it was very challenging for her family. Next, for her accomplishments, she was a teacher at a lot of schools, and a scientist. Finally, in life when she passed away, people did things to remember her. Florence's life was very interesting and surprising for her.
Early Life
As a child Florence Sabin’s life was very depressing. Florence Sabin was born in Central City November 9, 1871.One of her siblings was a sister, but when her brother (Richman) came in 1877 she had another sibling. But, then he didn’t last a year. And then she had another brother (Albert) in 1878, but he only lasted a year too. After her mother had the last baby boy she died while giving birth. Shortly after her mother died, her father sent Florence and Mary (her sister) to boarding school. When they went to boarding school, she lived with her uncle. When, her dad sent them away, he built a mining business. That was when it started to get better for her.
When her father didn't take care of her anymore, she started to grow up. She was growing up, by coming to Colorado and going to college at Johns Hopkins University. She got offered a job to be a teacher. At the Black Hawk dance, she met George. Soon after, she got married to George. This is when she started to be an adult.
When she married George she started to be more responsible. After she married George, she bought a house. That house is on Casey Road, where it still stands. They were happy that they were together. Responsibility was a big part of her
